About Raleigh Winery

Raleigh Winery is co-owned by a trio of passionate wine lovers Nicole Hatch, Joanne Wilson and Ross Main who have ambitious plans for the modest winery. Since taking over, they’ve already refurbished the alfresco dining area, transformed the winery homestead and expanded the kitchen to provide greater dining options for guests. The team have also created events such as Sunday Jazz sessions to welcome more guests to the winery,

Raleigh Wines

Raleigh grow predominantly Villard Blanc grapes, a late harvest semi-sweet wine best enjoyed with dessert and Chambourcin a red wine ideal for Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. The latest release wines feature new modern labels and branding, indicating the contemporary direction of Raleigh Wines. Raleigh Wines offer free wine tasting Tuesday-Sunday 10-5 at the cellar door.

Raleigh Cafe

Chef Owner Nicole Hatch favours local ingredients to create her delicious Mediterranean inspired menu. Nicole says “The mid-north Coast has beautiful fresh produce in abundance. Here at Raleigh Winery we embrace the local offering and tailor the menu around the seasonal produce available to us.”

Nicole likes to create food that can be enjoyed, shared and celebrated. The menu changes weekly, to showcase the best produce available that week. This allows Nicole to showcase produce such as locally grown pumpkins, rhubarb, avocados, tomatoes, zucchini, kale, gourmet lettuce and more in her favourite dishes. For example, fresh blueberries by local grower Raspberry Creek Farm feature on the decadent dessert menu, alongside fresh cream and milk products from Norco Foods. Locally grown Coffs Harbour Bananas from Bonville also feature in Raleigh’s famous Banoffee pie.

“We also have our own fruit trees growing on the property and use the fruit to enhance our menu with home grown mandarins, lemons, limes, cumquats, figs, tomatoes and passionfruit featured regularly on the menu. We even have bees producing fresh honey! Our Raleigh motto is ‘Our food is fresh, Our staff are friendly and Our focus is fun — making every day a fun day out for our customers’ is something that has been a key objective.”
